Zine Workshop

Whatcha mean? What’s a zine? A zine (short for fanzine) is a small, handmade, often counter-culture folded booklet that can express a message or share information about a topic (or whatever you want). In this workshop, and with the help of the Art and Art History Department, we'll teach you about zines and then help you create your own! Supplies and snacks will be provided.

Inspired is the celebration of faculty research and creative activity presented by Meriam Library. This is the 5th year in which we recognize the stellar scholarship of Chico State faculty. Appetizers, beverages, live music, and fun await all those who attend!

Seems Fair to Me! THE Copyright Game Show!

Using and Sharing Work with Creative Commons Licenses

Creative Commons materials are shared under licenses that allowusers to legally use, distribute, and sometimes modify them. However, they must still follow specific copyright terms, such as attribution, non-commercial use, or restrictions on derivative works. Copyright guru Dr. Patrick Newell will help you navigate and interpret these requirements in this first presentation of the Copyright Seminar Series from Meriam Library.
