Don't get in a tangle over crochet! Erica Rix of the Art Department will guide you through this beginning crochet craft that can later be used with all of the books you check out from the Library! Crochet hooks and yarn will be provided -- bring your lunch and get started on something wonderful!

Honor the '70s by making a cool macrame plant hanger! We will teach you the simple basic knots, provide the rope, and wooden rings. There might even be some funky beads to add a little glam. We'll use a standard 6-inch pot as a guide, but feel free to bring in a pot you would like to use (so the measurements are right). Snacks will be provided and we look forward to seeing you there!

There's a multitude of fun and creative ways to use the humble pom pom to brighten up your life while accessing skill-building activities that can be fostered in our Innovation Lab. Materials and snacks will be provided, but if you have yarn at home that you would like to use, please feel free to bring it in!
