Starting Monday March 27th, a library service crucial to student success will be highlighted on our social media.

Music HerStory: Women, Zines, and Punk

Popular today, zine use was propelled by the riot grrrl movement in the early 1990s. They connected like-minded readers and musicians through writing about women’s issues, perspectives, and experiences. Zines continue to promote community-building and creativity, especially among young women.

 

Children's Literature Author Series: Patricia Newman

Join Meriam Library in the Research Commons for the sixth and final of our Children's Literature Author Series! We'll be hosting a watch party for a zoom presentation from Patricia Newman, who will share a reading of their book, A River's Gifts: The Mighty Elwha River Reborn. This will be followed by a question & answer session with the author. 

Children's Literature Author Series: Deborah Hopkinson

Join Meriam Library in the Research Commons for the fifth of our Children's Literature Author Series! We'll be hosting a watch party for a zoom presentation from Deborah Hopkinson, who will share a reading of their book, Butterflies Belong Here: The Story of One Idea, Thirty Kids, and a World of Butterflies. This will be followed by a question & answer session with the author.
