This workshop will show you how to write a literature review by dividing literature creation into three parts: Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. Examples of literature reviews will also be presented.

The source sheet is a step-by-step guide that makes the creation of an annotated bibliography easy peasy! Also covered in the workshop will be instructions on how to write an APA citation for your articles.

Don't get in a tangle over crochet! Erica Rix of the Art Department will guide you through this beginning crochet craft that can later be used with all of the books you check out from the Library! Crochet hooks and yarn will be provided -- bring your lunch and get started on something wonderful!

Teams should have three to four people, but don't worry if you're flying solo -- we'll create teams at 11:30 am with questions starting at 11:35 am. Categories may include:

Get ready for the final crunch with coffee and snacks on Meriam Library's 4th floor! We will be hosting hot java and assorted treats to help you be prepared Tuesday, May 5, Wednesday, May 6, and Monday, May 11 from 9 am to 2 pm. Stop by and refuel!

Honor the '70s by making a cool macrame plant hanger! We will teach you the simple basic knots, provide the rope, and wooden rings. There might even be some funky beads to add a little glam. We'll use a standard 6-inch pot as a guide, but feel free to bring in a pot you would like to use (so the measurements are right). Snacks will be provided and we look forward to seeing you there!

Celebrate Earth Day and discover Meriam's Seed Library! Join us Monday, April 20 from 3–4 pm in the Innovation Lab to plant seeds from our collection, paint a clay pot, and enjoy free mocktails. All supplies will be provided along with some good advice and literature on how to become an amazing plant (and planet) steward!
