Join Meriam Library for the launch of Dr. Angela Zivo Gapa's new book The Politics of New African Resource Discoveries in the Post-Curse Era. The book explores the "resource curse", African political economy, and the need for a nuanced understanding of resource flows in the global context. Dr. Gapa together with two contributing authors, Dr. Michael Ohene Aboagye and Dr. Cliff Ubba Kodero will offer case studies on the post-curse era in Mozambique, Ghana, and Uganda, respectively.

On August 19th-21st, 2024 Chico State, CSU San Bernardino, and CSU Fullerton are jointly hosting a Data Carpentry workshop for current graduate students, instructors, and our state-wide community. All Carpentries workshops are entirely volunteer run events.

As part of the Copyright of Way Series, Document Your Fair Use Argument will provide an overview of copyright law and educational exemptions. Attendees will then talk through their copyright issues to document their fair-use argument.
