Sign in to your library account and use OneSearch to find articles, books, and more. You should find all or most of what you need for your research. If you need assistance, chat with a librarian.

If you can’t find what you are looking for, select “CSU Collections and Beyond” within OneSearch to expand your search results.
- To request an article or chapter, look for the relevant box and click “GET IT.”

To have a book mailed to you from Meriam Library’s collection, click on the item and then select “Request from Meriam Library.”

To have a book mailed to you from another library’s collection, select “Get a physical copy” and click “GET IT,” then select your pickup location as your mailing address.
- Please contact Interlibrary Service at (530) 898-6881 or email Interlibrary Services with any questions or special requirements.
- We can provide digital copies of articles from journals or chapters in books owned by Meriam Library not already available electronically.
- We can provide physical books from Meriam Library, as well items from CSU libraries and other partners, found in OneSearch.
Note – some items cannot be mailed to you. These may include whole issues/volumes of journals; rare/fragile and special collection books; reference books; material on Course Reserve; or other items that specify “Library Use Only.”
Please allow 1-2 weeks to receive physical materials. Delivery of digital materials can be expected within 1-2 business days.
- Books can be returned in person to any CSU library at no cost. Find your closest CSU location!
- For items you cannot easily return to a CSU library, you will receive instructions and a pre-paid return label for shipping back to Meriam Library.
- You are responsible for charges related to loss or damage of item(s).
- Loan periods are between 3-16 weeks.
- Contact Interlibrary Services at (530) 898-6881 or email Interlibrary Services if you have questions about the possibility of extending your loan period.
Other Resources Available To You
Access to other CSU libraries
As a Chico State student you have access to all of the libraries within the California State University (CSU) system, including their books and other resources. Here is a list of the 23 libraries in the CSU system.
To check out books at another CSU, you will have to register in person using your Wildcat ID card (or with your username and password) and comply with their circulation policies. You can also return a book checked out from any CSU Library (including a book that we have sent you by mail) to any other CSU Library.
