Pick up your postcard at the First floor Research Commons and return it fully addressed and Meriam Library will mail your postcards at no cost to you!

Tools to Support Rural Families: National Library of Medicine & MedlinePlus

First 5 Tehama, the Office of Civic Engagement, and Meriam Library...

have been awarded a grant from the National Library of Medicine to provide hands-on and in-person training to families in Tehama County. Medline Plus is an evidence based medical information resource designed for families to become their own best health advocates, and empower both families and case managers with the tools needed to support healthy outcomes.

The training will take place at the Tehama County Library in Red Bluff. 

Meriam Library Open House

 

Join Meriam Library librarians and staff to learn about the new building upgrades and our first floor featured art, painted by Shelby Self, honoring the Mechoopda Indian Tribe.

2:30 in the First floor Research Commons, Shelby Self (Enterprise Rancheria) will discuss her artwork displayed on the first floor. 

3:00 in the Fourth floor Rose Garden Room, come view the 1972 Wildcat Newspapers, 1972 Graduation announcements, and 1972 Student Directory. Then, sign our guest book!

Light refreshments will be served at both locations.

Join librarians Thursday September 22, 2022 by reading an excerpt of your favorite Banned Book between 4-5 pm. You can read with a partner or perform the excerpt in a dramatic reading, for no longer than 2 minutes.
