Meriam Library is happy to share a new archival database with our students, faculty, and staff.  Black Life in America provides comprehensive news coverage of the African American experience from 1704- to date sourced from more than 19,000 American and global news sources, including over 400 current and historical Black publications.  By offering coverage from diverse sources published across four centuries that include firsthand reporting, editorials, obituaries, illustrations and advertisements, this databases helps provide critical perspectives on the experiences of being Black in America and is an invaluable resource for exploring issues of equity, race, and related topics.
