Times London and the Los Angeles Times.

Meriam Library has acquired access to two important online newspaper archives -- The Times London, and the Los Angeles Times. Coverage for the Times London is 1785-2008, and for the Los Angeles Times it is 1881-1990. Previously, our access to these newspaper archives has been limited to microfilm format. The online format offers a significant advantage in that it is searchable.

New Database: Ebrary Academic Complete

The Meriam Library has acquired access to the Ebrary Academic Complete collection of ebooks. This database contains over 80,000 ebooks from a long list of leading university presses and academic publishers covering all subjects.  This is a growing collection of ebooks, with new titles being added quarterly. All ebooks in the collection allow multiple simultaneous users, and can be downloaded to be read offline on a computer, or on an Android or Apple device.

New Database: BizMiner

BizMiner is a professional database that provides financial ratios, profit and loss benchmarks, and industry statistical reports at the granular level most useful to business planners, start-ups, sole proprietorships, small businesses, and local enterprise. It covers 5,000 lines of business at the national and local levels down to the Zip code.

New Database: Nursing Education in Video

The Meriam Library has acquired access  to Alexander Street Press' Nursing Education in Video database. This database is a collection of 260 training videos intended for nurses and other health care workers.  All of the videos on the collection were created under the guidance of Medcom-Trainex, which is the world's largest producer of nursing education videos.

New Database: U.S. Congressional Serial Set

The Meriam Library has acquired online access to what is considered to be the single most important series of American government publications – the U.S. Congressional Serial Set, and the American State Papers. This is an online collection of every publication from the 15th through the 103rd Congress, covering the dates from 1789 to 1994.

New Database: Literature Criticism Online

The Meriam Library has current  subscriptions to three Literature Criticism reference titles: Contemporary Literary Criticism, 20th Century Literary Criticism, and 19th Century Literature Criticism. The format for these titles has changed from print to online, and the titles are now available in the Literature Criticism Online database. Coverage for these three titles is complete, from the first volume to the most recent published volume.
