The Innovation Lab aligns with Meriam Library’s 2017–2020 Strategic Plan by advancing goals related to student learning, access to technology, and the development of innovative and collaborative spaces. The Lab contributes to:
- Supporting the full cycle of research and creation through access to digital tools and production technologies
- Strengthening the educational impact of the library by fostering hands-on, experiential learning
- Investing in inclusive, flexible spaces that promote collaboration, creativity, and interdisciplinary engagement
- Expanding digital literacy and technical skills among students, faculty, and staff
Through these efforts, the Innovation Lab enhances the Library’s role as a center for creativity, innovation, and scholarly activity on campus.
