Join us for a beginner tutorial covering data visualization in R. Data visualization is a fun way to introduce yourself to the world of data analysis with the R programming language. Since graduate student projects address complex issues, clear visuals in the results section of your papers can help to communicate findings to a broader audience. We will cover histograms, box plots, line plots, scatterplots, and more using base R and the ggplot package. No prior experience needed. Installation of R and R software is not required, but the instructor will be available from 5-6 pm for students who need assistance with next steps.
