Lab printing is currently unavailable at Meriam Library. The Division of IT manages print services and is working on a resolution. In the meantime, printing services are available at your specific Student Success Center and at the locations below. New resource sharing product at the library

Meriam Library is excited to announce that we implemented a new resource sharing product and interface in July 2022. Resource sharing (also known as Interlibrary Loan) is a free service available to all Chico State students, faculty, and staff to request physical and electronic materials from other libraries.

Do Scholars Let Scholars Use Google Scholar?

Librarians and faculty like to bemoan the fact that students use Google for their research. Who are we kidding? We all use Google if we can get away with it. It's easy and intuitive and more often than not we get fast results that, if not perfect, "will do". But, as seasoned researchers, we also know that when we are looking for scholarly articles we need to use the library's commercial databases, right? Not necessarily.
