Personal Research Consultation
Subject librarians are available for research consultation. Set up an appointment to learn more about the library collections, databases, and services available to support your research needs.
The Library Catalog and most database providers have alert services or RSS feeds where faculty can establish a profile of research interests and be notified automatically when a book on the subject is received or when new journal articles are published. Contact your subject librarian for more information.
Research Instruction For Your Class
Subject librarians are available to come to your classroom and guest lecture on a research or instruction topic of your choice. You can choose to hold your class in the Library Education Room (MLIB 226) with 24 laptop workstations, or arrange for the librarian to come to your Smart Classroom. Ordering Library Materials
If you are interested in having the library purchase a book, DVD or periodicals fill out a purchase order form and send it to your department book chair. Contact your subject librarian with any questions or concerns you have about the library.
Chico Digital Repository
The Chico Digital Repository promotes discovery, research, cross-disciplinary collaboration and instruction by collecting, preserving and providing access to scholarly work created at Chico. The CDR can provide persistent and centralized electronic access to faculty and student work, promote research and collaboration and provide a public archive that reflects the development of knowledge on campus. Currently the CDR is being used as the repository for our digital Master's Theses but we welcome suggestions for additional content.
