The Meriam Library has multiple summer projects in motion, many of which will be on-going through August, and perhaps into early September.

In early June, the offices of InterLibrary Services (ILS) will be moving from their home on 2nd floor to 1st floor and blending with Circulation/Reserve.  As part of this relocation, ILS will also be taking on all internal library mail services through the MLIB 107/107A complex, located just inside the southwest staff entrance.

2nd floor will see a shift of the entire Periodical Collection to consolidate titles and redistribute shelf- and floor space.  As part of this shift, the Theses Collection will be moving to the southeastern part of the floor to the very end of the Periodical Collection, while the Map Collection will be restructured and lengthened to fill in the space vacated by the Theses Collection and to open up areas along the northeastern wall for seating with power.  New furniture with power will be installed on the north bridge of 2nd, and in the northeastern and southeastern bays.

On 4th floor, new seating will be installed starting with new chairs across the entire floor, and new tables with power on the north bridge and in the northwestern Curriculum/Juvenile area.

If one is looking for a quiet place to study, the 1st floor Laptop Lounge and the entire 3rd floor should be free of noise and commotion.

Should a patron experience difficulty finding materials during this time, please direct them to the Circulation/Reserve desk for assistance.
