When you search the Library Catalog you may notice that under the Call Number you now see a button that says "More Like This". Clicking on the button allows you to virtually browse the shelves to see titles that sit next to the book you were originally looking at. Why would you want to do that? Because the Meriam Library uses the subject based Library of Congress classification system to shelve their collections, books that are sitting near each other on the shelf quite often are on the same or related subjects (in fiction you will find books by the same author or by authors from a similar country and/or time period). So using the "More Like This" button can often help you to find additional books or other resources of interest. Try it out and see what you think!
