Congratulations to our winners in Meriam Library’s Banned Books Week contest! Three names were randomly picked (students needed to answer one of five questions to be eligible to win). First prize went to Ricardo Bugarin who won a Discover What You’re Missing mug, $15.00 gift card to the Chico State Wildcat Store, a Banned Books Week button and bookmark. Two second prizewinners received a $10.00 gift card to the Chico State Wildcat Store, a Banned Books Week button and bookmark. Their names are Jamie Cabrera and Mari Rangel-Vargas. All three students were surprised and excited to have won, and all expressed how much they enjoy using the library. Ricardo participates in adding sticky note responses to the Question of the Week white board, and is curious to know whether the library plans to follow through on any of the comments.
