The Meriam Library has been given trial access to Blackwell Encyclopedia of Sociology Online. In addition to basic and advanced searching, this resource gives the the user the ability to explore through browsing multiple indexes, such as broad subject categories, key topics, geographical areas, names, and time periods. The resource is updated three times a year. The next update is scheduled for this September, and will include Elections, Fair Trade, Japan Sociological Society, Web 2.0, and Hurricane Katrina. Our trial period will run through September 30, 2008.
